Just a quick thank you to the Rosegarden rehab/nursing home.my mom has been in rehab for 4 months and now is going to become a resident.after my father passed last year .our plan for mom was for her to come live in my home with her daughter-in-law and grandchildren, however due to Covid and other underlining illnesses this became no longer an option..she is now mostly bedridden and her kidneys are not functioning properly along with diabetes ,and other ailments. We are a very close family and never would have considered a nursing home for mom especially with the passing of my dad.I live 2 blocks away from the facility, retired and visit my mom multiple times a day ,and have meet most of the staff from the owner ,administration to maintenance and have to say they are all caring and wonderful people and treat mom and my family like we are part of theirs .if I could give the facility and staff 6 stars I would. My sister fractured her neck and needed to go to rehab straight from the hospital. Unfortunately we were not aware of Rose Garden at that time and placed her in Arista Care. That was the biggest mistake we could have made. Thankfully we found Rose Garden and met with Kelly and had a tour. We decided to remove my sister from Arista Care and take her to Rose Garden. It was the best move and we truly wish we had known but Rose Garden at the beginning. The place is very clean, they care about their patients and anything that my sister or our family asked for they did everything to get it.I truly cannot say enough good about the people and the place its the best home away from home that she could have had. When she was discharged they made sure that he home care was all in order and they anything we needed to know to take care of her at home was explained to us fully. If you have a family member or a friend that needs care this is the place to go!The Leslie Malsbury Familyread more

My Mom, who is 91, has been here for 2 weeks so far, after breaking her hip. The nurses, aides, and physical therapists have been top notch! So impressed at everyone’s kindness and knowledge. The place is so clean and I’m so happy and relieved that she is in this facility getting the care and respect that is needed. I would definitely recommend Rose Garden rehabilitation without any hesitation.read more

I was recently in a car accident, I was frightened and in extreme pain. I had to spend two weeks in the hospital then was told that I needed to go to a sub acute rehab, My nieces wanted to find the best facility, and they really did, Rosegarden from the minute I walked in and was greeted by the receptionists it was a comforting experience, I was still extremely frightened and did not know what to expect. It turned out to be an amazing experience, every single employee I came in contact with from nursing, dietary, housekeeping, nursing, rehab my social worker Meagan McDowell and the Director of Admissions Kelly Zeitler who handled all of my insurance issues so I was not burdened, and just had to worry about healing so I could return home. Everyone treated me like I was special, like a long lost friend. I will never forget any of these people and what they did for me, I am truly grateful to have had such a positive experience.read more

My grandfather lived at the Rose Garden during his final years and we were always very happy with the care and attention he received. The space was always very clean and they were great about planning activities for the residents. He made many friends and always enjoyed our visits. It was a dignified place for him to be after he could no longer live independently. I would recommend the Rose Garden to others.read more

I just wanted to say thank you to Rose Garden. I was recently inquiring about the facility for a family member and the admissions director couldn’t have been nicer. She not only answered all my questions, but she answered questions I didn’t even know to ask. The rest of the staff was very nice and welcoming as well. If the need for a facility arises in the future, I’ll know exactly where to go. Great job!read more

Toward the second half of 2018, I had the responsibility to relocate a sole surviving family member from his home of over forty years to a long-term care facility. Not a fun job – but fortunately, I had been managing a service company over the previous 25 plus years and frequently worked in many of the assisted living, nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout Ocean and Monmouth counties. In this role I got to meet some of the management and staff members, observe general operations and saw how the staff cared for and interacted with the residents. One of these nursing & rehabilitation facilities was the Rose Garden in Toms River. So, when the time came to select a permanent new home for my family member, the choice could not have been easier. Since day one at the Rose Garden, every point of contact starting with the administrator and social services, the nursing staff and friendly aides, people at the front desk, the dietary & therapy staff, the accounting department, and the excellent kitchen and maintenance departments have been and continue to prioritize the care, well-being and happiness of their residents. Even during the most stressful periods of Covid, the Rose Garden went above and beyond keeping family members informed of events and did a great job accommodating outdoor visitation. When the weather turned cooler, they had a large heated trailer very conveniently setup to continue family visits. After over three years of experience with the Rose Garden, I am more confident than ever that you will not find a more caring or better managed nursing and rehabilitation facility.read more

It has almost been one month since our sweet mom passed away, and although this review is difficult to write, I wanted to say all of the wonderful things about this Rose Garden, and how happy I was that we chose this place from many of the other ones in this area. Walking in we are greeting by caring friendly people. My mom was in hospice, and their understanding was palpable and while it was a difficult time, they all made it easier. From admitting to the daily care from the nurses and the aids (on the 2nd floor), my mom was cared for with so much compassion. Every member of the staff really cared about my mom and what her three daughters were going through. Melody (weekend nurse) was so caring, checking on mom so often without us even having to call her. Tina was her week-day nurse and she had the skill and understanding that my mom needed. Chelsea and Amanda were kind and caring too!Even though my mom was only there for 10 days, each minute, hour and day created a time-span that we all needed. When were were not there (and we were there for almost 15 hours out of the day-taking shifts) we knew that she had excellent care. The head nurse Alicia was so kind on our mom’s last day. You can tell she takes her profession with compassion and caring. We wish we could remember everyone that touched my mom on her last 10 days, however, the time was difficult, so we apologize if we missed anyone.Thank you for taking care of our sweet mom.Tara K and Family of Connie Kread more

My father received care at the Rose Garden for 6 weeks. While this is a long time to be away from home, we could not have asked for a more caring and professional setting. Staff went out of their way to make him comfortable and happy. They were incredibly kind and welcoming to family members as well. The administration made every effort to allow visitors, while keeping residents safe during Covid. PT services were also excellent and even occurred on weekends. The rooms were very clean and well furnished, and in my father’s room there was a window overlooking a lovely courtyard that he was able to go out to on sunny days. And the food was EXCELLENT and they paid special attention to his dietary needs! We are so grateful for everyone at the Rose Garden and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a warm and friendly place for their loved one to go to recuperate.read more

My very Close friend was recently hospitalized and required rehab stay at rose garden. The facility is beautiful. From the receptionists to maintenance, housekeeping and nursing. I can say all were very accessible, respectful, and efficient. The therapists were patient and worked with her until she was strong enough to to be discharged home. The social workers Were always checking with her, reviewing her needs and plans for going home. Physically she was still battling pain and other ailments which caused her to become discouraged, but the nurses and aides were so caring and supportive. They lifted her spirits. We are truly Thankful for the loving care she received! We have been recommending Rose Garden to our Family and Friends!read more

My husband has been at Rose Garden for six years. I would not send him anywhere else because the care the residents and the staff are all very good. We have never had any problems. I have recommended Rose Garden to many people in my senior adult community, ten of which were between rehab and long term care. They have loved Rose Garden and were all had positive things to say and recommend Rose Garden to all their friends. There are many activities provided at Rose Garden that they can do. The residents all love the activities.read more

My mother has been in several nursing homes before the Rose Garden . It was so encouraging and refreshing to come to a facility where everyone cares about they’re residents. My mothers needs are met and anything we request is handled quickly, including her safety and security. Since residing at Rose Garden, I have been able to sleep peacefully at night. The owner Mr. Shawn, is approachable and available at all times. The nurses, aides and staff are all caring and are efficient. The social workers, Trish and Meghan, always make sure we receive all that we are entitled to and require. This facility is top-notch and after being in other sub- standard facilities, I will recommend the Rose Garden to everyone.read more

Rose Garden brought comfort to all of us while my husband coped with his illness. All staff members were so knowledgeable, professional and above all- caring. My husband received the kindest of care and “extras “ that made him feel so special. Staff members regarded him as a person rather than a patient and focused on his likes and interests enabling him to remain positive and bolstering his self esteem. We didn’t realize but we, as a family placing our loved one in a nursing facility, also needed help in coping with so much. The Rose Garden staff knew just how to answer our questions and provide reassurance to our fears. The kindness and caring to each one of us gave us so much comfort and strength. The professional staff also reassessed and implemented accommodations quickly to my husband’s ever changing and challenging needs. Rose Garden will forever remain a positive memory in our family’s heart.read more
