The Rose Garden’s philosophy of excellence in all areas is highlighted in our dining services. We strive to ensure that what we prepare each day for every meal is delicious, beautifully served, therapeutically correct, and healthful. We purchase locally grown, organic vegetables and fruits in season; our fish is always fresh; fine wine is available at dinner. We uphold the standards of the “Slow Food” (as opposed to “fast food”) movement, believing that time, effort, thought, and the highest standards of food buying and preparation are the fabric of fine dining services. We are a health facility; healthful food is at the core of good health. We serve our guests what we would want for ourselves.

Rose’s Bistro and Tea Lounge is a warm and inviting space designed for all residents to gather, relax, and enjoy. It features distinct areas, including a cozy office space, a comfortable living room, and a charming bistro, offering the perfect setting for socializing or quiet reflection. With its blend of functionality and comfort, the lounge provides residents with a serene environment where they can enjoy a cup of tea, catch up with friends, or simply unwind. Rose’s Bistro and Tea Lounge is truly a cherished part of The Rose Garden Nursing and Rehabilitation, bringing people together in a peaceful, homelike atmosphere.
Rose’s Bistro was lovingly inspired by the cherished recipes of Andrew Shawn’s mother, Rose. Her passion for cooking and creating comforting meals for her family became the heart and soul of the bistro. Rose’s handwritten recipes, filled with warmth and tradition, are proudly displayed throughout the space. The bistro not only offers residents a place to gather and enjoy delicious meals, inspiring moments of connection and comfort for all who visit.
The lounge now has distinct areas, including an office space, living room, and bistro. The renovation is very meaningful, as it displays Rose’s handwritten recipes and family photos. Our residents are very excited to utilize this serene space in their homes!
