Rose Garden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is very excited to introduce our new Director of Nursing to the Rose Garden family, Dinaz Bengali!

Born and raised in India, Dinaz moved to the United States in 1994. After completing her undergraduate studies at H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, she secured her Bachelor’s of Science Degree. Dinaz began her nursing career as an LPN-Floor Nurse at Green Acres Manor. With hard work and dedication, Dinaz moved up the ladder and took on the Charge Nurse, then Unit Manager position.

Looking to further her career, Dinaz went to school to obtain her RN licensure. With licensure, Dinaz was offered an Assistant Director of Nursing position. After completing ten years with Green Acres Manor, Dinaz began a new journey to AristaCare as the Assistant Director of Nursing. Within five years, Dinaz was promoted to Director of Nursing, and held this position for the following five years.  

Throughout her time at AristaCare, Dinaz brought their star rating from 3-Star, to a 5-Star facility. Looking for more challenges in a larger facility, Dinaz accepted a Director of Nursing position at Bartley Healthcare. Again, she assisted with increasing the facility star rating to a 5-Star facility.

While living in the neighborhood for 26 years, Dinaz watched Rose Garden being built, and aspired to work there one day. Low and behold, the opportunity came knocking in her door, and she accepted the position as Director of Nursing at Rose Garden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center!

Dinaz has a wonderful support system behind her, being married to her phenomenal husband for 27 years. He is an Occupational Therapist by profession, and they have been blessed with two beautiful children. Their daughter, Pearl, is 21 years of age, and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Science at Rutger’s University. Graduating in May, Pearl’s goal is to obtain her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Their son, Shawn, who is 25 years old, has a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University and currently resides in Washington, DC. The Bengali family is also enthralled with their rambunctious 7-year-old German Sheppard, named Tarzan. In her spare time, Dinaz loves to run, swim, hike, bike, zumba, and cook!

Dinaz is glad to join the Rose Garden team and is committed to the values that Rose Garden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center upholds!
